About the tour
The capital of the state of Sikkim, Gangtok is an attractive tourist destination, reflecting a unique ambience which derives from its happy blend of tradition and modernity. Alongside the deeply felt presence of stupas and monasteries, Gangtok also bustles like any other thriving town. Some of the key places to visit include Rumtek Monastery, Do-Drul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, Tashi View Point and the local bazaar, Lal Bazaar.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Gangtok
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok. Check in the hotel. Visit M.G. Marg by walking and evening individual activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast depart for full day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft), and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir which is only 32 km. from Gangtok, the lake is about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).
Day 3: Gangtok Full Day Tour
After breakfast you will start your full day Gangtok tour which will cover Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Dro-dul Chorten, Nam Nang View Point (Ropeway on direct payment basis), Burtuk Falls, Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok To Pelling
After breakfast transfer to Pelling . Check in hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Pelling Full Day Tour
After breakfast we drive to Yuksom on way panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall and Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and Kanchenjunga Water fall. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls and Khachoedpalri Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins and New Helipad Ground. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey. Tour ends and memories begin

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot). Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. Room heater charges. Service tax. Insurance. (the cat holidays recommend to get the travel insurance done through us at a nominal cost when you are going for a vacation to the north east region of india always) Anything which is not included in the inclusion. Difference in cost arising due to change in fuel price (calculation based on petrol inr 70 per liter & diesel inr 58 per liter) Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary. Difference in cost arising due to change in taxes by the government which will have to be collected directly on arrival.The luxury vehicle (scorpio / xylo) will be provided to the guest for the complete tour. The vehicle changes every day/sector wise and will be on contract as per the itinerary. This vehicle is not on disposal. Also while opting for luxury vehicle please informs the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be collected directly from the guest. Maximum 06 heads (including adult & children) will be allowed in a scorpio / xylo. Maximum 08 heads (including adult & children) are allowed in non ac Tata sumo / similar. Ac of this luxury vehicle will only operate in plain and not in hills. Children above 10+ years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate (EPSR) Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per CWB or CNB Children below 5 years Complimentary
