Day 1: Arrival At Udaipur
Arrival at Udaipur, you will be greeted by our representative and be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Evening do a Boat Ride (to be paid by guest directly) at Lake Pichola after visiting Jag Mandir. Late evening free for leisure or for shopping and roaming in the colorful bazaars of the city. Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur - visit the city palace where you will marvel at the rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, windows with colored glass, inlaid marble balconies and the famous peacock courtyard. Also visit the Jagdish temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari Garden. Late evening enjoy the famous Puppet Show (Kathputli). Day 3: Udaipur To Jodhpur
Now that you have experienced the sights and sounds of Udaipur, it's time to get into the Rajasthani countryside. The 56-mile (90-kilometer) drive from Udaipur to Ranakpur is one of the most picturesque in the country and the Jain temple complex at Ranakpur is equally impressive situated in the lovely valley of the Aravalis. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculptures. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. Continue your drive to Jodhpur after this visit. Founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, Jodhpur was the capital of the state of Marwar during the rule of the Rathor clan. Set at the edge of Thar Desert, Jodhpur is strewn with forts and palaces that date back to the 15th century, all vividly testifying to the history of the princely state. Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort. From the top of the fort you have a bird’s eye view of the old blue city of Jodhpur. Visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memoriam built in 1899 and Umaid Bhavan Palace and Museum. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 5: Jodhpur To Jaisalmer
After breakfast, leave for Jaisalmer. On arrival, directly move to Sam Sand Dunes, which are located 42 kms away from Jaisalmer fortress city. Check-in at your Desert Camp, stay in the tented accommodation and in the evening travel the trail of the ancient silk traders on CamelBak, the silken smooth sands of Sham look like a tale out of the ‘Merchant of Venice’. Day 06 : Sightseeing Tour Of Jaisalmer
The day is earmarked for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit Gadsisar Lake & Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Fort), built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal. Still inhabited, there are palaces and bazaars within the fort walls. Visit Jaisalmer Jain temples which are famous for their Dilwara style of paintings & architecture. Overnight at hotel Jaisalmer.
