About the tour
Mirik is a small and sleepy hill town in Darjeeling district and 49 kms (i.e. 30 miles) away from Darjeeling town. It takes about two and half hours by car to reach Mirik from Darjeeling. From Ghoom there is a scenic road that goes to Sukhiapokhri, a hilly locality 11 kms from Ghoom. Boating on the quaint shikaras and pony riding are available.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport And Transfer To Mirik
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport and transfer to Mirik Lake an excellent picturesque spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft. it is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake orange orchards, cardamom plantations and tea estates enhance the Surroundings here. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Mirik To Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling via Pashupati Market in Nepal border (need extra vehicle to enter into the market, direct payment) one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill queen’s. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: In Darjeeling
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill ,famous for sunrise over Mount Kanchendzonga,on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points ,covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway ( operational ,ropeway ride to be paid by guest directly. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling To Gangtok
Morning transfer to Gangtok via Peshok Tea Gardens. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 5: In Gangtok ( 3+7 Points )
After breakfast start for city tour. First half cover Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok and Tashi View Point. Later proceed for rest of the points that is the seven points. The Rumtek Monastery or Banjhakhri water falls, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms(Closed On Sunday), Cable Car ( Own Ticket ), Research Institute of Tibetology(Closed On Sunday), Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa ),and Flower show . Evening free for personal activities and shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Excursion Trip To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir And Back ( Timing Will Depend On The Issuance Of Permit )
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. and Baba Mandir. The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh , Back to Gangtok. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Departure To Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra airport for onwards destination. Tour Ends
