This bustling bazaar town sprawls along a saddle-shaped mountain ridge overlooking the roaring Teesta River and lorded over by the summit of Khangchendzonga. It’s not a must-see, but it does boast Himalayan views, Buddhist monasteries, colonial architecture and a fascinating nursery industry, all linked by some fine hikes.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Gangtok
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport. Transfer to Gangtok.Check in the hotel. Visit M.G. Marg by walking and evening individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast depart for full day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir which is only 32 km. from Gangtok, the lake is about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).
Day 3: Gangtok Halfday Sightseeing And Transfer To Kalimpong
After breakfast go for local sightseeing covering Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show and Banzakhri Falls. Afternoon transfer to Kalimpong. Check in and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Kalimpong Half Day Sightseeing And Transfer To Darjeeling
Today after breakfast visit Dello hills, Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu and Kalim Temple, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang, Durbin Dara Hills, Flower Nurseries, Dr Graham's Homes complex with its historic church and well maintained grounds founded in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J A Graham, a Scottish missionary, Delo Hill (5556 feet) appears to be the roof- of- the- world is the highest point in Kalimpong. The scenic beauty on the way are beautiful and there are lot of shops selling antics and local handicraft worth buying. Transfer to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Darjeeling (Full Day Tour)
Early in the morning before dawn at 4 am proceed to Tiger hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the khancendzonga ranges. On the way back visit Batasia loop and Ghoom monastery back to hotel at 7 AM. After freshen up and breakfast at the hotel visit to Himalayan mountaineering institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan zoological park, Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self-help center, Tea estate (outer view), Ava art gallery and Japanese temple, peace pagoda, Labong race course and rope way. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast leave Darjeeling and proceed towards New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward journey.

Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (toy train), porterage. Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary. Entrance fees & guide charges. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot). Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. Room heater charges. Service tax. Insurance. (the cat holidays recommend to get the travel insurance done through us at a nominal cost when you are going for a vacation to the north east region of india always) Anything which is not included in the inclusion. Difference in cost arising due to change in fuel price (calculation based on petrol inr 70 per liter & diesel inr 58 per liter) Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary. Difference in cost arising due to change in taxes by the government which will have to be collected directly on arrival.The luxury vehicle (scorpio / xylo) will be provided to the guest for the complete tour. Also while opting for luxury vehicle please informs the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be collected directly from the guest. Maximum 06 heads (including adult & children) will be allowed in a scorpio / xylo. Maximum 08 heads (including adult & children) are allowed in non ac Tata sumo / similar. Ac of this luxury vehicle will only operate in plain and not in hills. Children above 10+ years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate (EPSR) Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per CWB or CNB Children below 5 years Complimentary
