Gangtok is one of the more popular hill destinations in India's northeast region. Most travelers visit Gangtok with the idea of catching a glimpse of the spectacular Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. On a bright, sunlit day it is a sight to behold. Part of the lower Shivalik hills of mighty Himalayas, Gangtok stands at an altitude of 5047 feet (null.3 meters). Gangtok roughly means 'Majestic or Lofty Hill'.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Arrival New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Ixb To Gangtok
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Excursion Visit Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake - situated at a height of 3,780 meters, with an average depth of 50 feet and Baba Mandir - The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Sing , Back to Gangtok. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Gangtok To Lachung
After breakfast pick up at from hotel at Gangtok and transfer to Lachung (altitude 8610 feet). Via Phodong, Mangan, Singik Chungthang and Maltim. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 04 : Excursion To Yumthang Valley And Back
Morning after breakfast visit Yumthang-Valley (Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron ), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 05 : Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast leave for Gangtok. On the way stops between Singhik, Mangan and if the weather is clear you may get to see the Khangchendzonga Range. This location offers a majestic view of Mount Pandim, Mount Kabru, Mount Simvo, Mount Jopuno, Mount Khangchendzonga and Mount Siniolchu on a clear sky day. Visit Phodong Monastery on the way if time permits. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 06 : Gangtok To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Ixb
Morning free for packing and personal activities. After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station or IXB Airport for return journey. Morning free for personal activities and transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport.

- Incase the number of pax travelling increases above 08, then the pax will have to opt for the 2nd (second) vehicle for which the supplement cost is extra, as per the above itinerary on point to point basis and not at disposal
- All prevailing State and Government taxes applicable on accommodation and transport
- In case of any hike in the taxes a surcharge will be applicable
- Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking. In case the same is not available, then the best similar category will be provided
- The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts
- The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason

- Nathula Pass visit is only possible on Wednesday , Thursday, Friday , Saturday & Sunday with prior permission obtained 48 hrs in advance as per defense regulation Nathula is not advisable to guest having problem with blood pressure, knee and heart. Since Nathula is a restrict area any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake
