Day 1: Arrival Njp Railway / Ixb Airport/tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) To Darjeeling
On Arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) airport or NJP Railway Station or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) our Representative will assist you to board your vehicles to Darjeeling (90Kms\3.5hrs), which is situated at an average elevation of 6,710 ft (2,045.2 m). “Darjeeling” a land of breathtaking beauty crowned by the majestic Himalayas. It is famed in the name of “Queen of the hill stations”, its name derived from “Dorje-Line” which means the place of “Dorje”, the mystic thunderbolt. Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. It is noted for its tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a very scenic drive through the mountains, tea gardens etc. Overnight at Hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Early Morning After break fast, Full day city tour includes visit to the following places of interest namely Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing - Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday), Beautiful Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Japanese Temple – Other places of visit are Peace Pagoda, Lal kothi, Dhirdham Temple, Ava Art Gallery, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) – Back to hotel – Evening free to Rome around the Mall or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3: In Darjeeling (Excursion To Tiger Hill)
Early Morning at 03:45 AM ready to go for “Tiger Hill”- Situated at an altitude of 2590 meters (8482 ft.) and 13 kilometers from the town, this spot has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise over the "Kanchanjunga" and the great eastern Himalayan Mountains. On way back to visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After having very scenic view of these way back to hotel have some delicious breakfast. After breakfast-rest for half an hour – Next visit to Rock Garden – Ganga Maiya park - Back to hotel – Evening free to Rome around Mall or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 4: Darjeeling To Mirik (60kms In 2.5hrs One Way)
Today after breakfast we take you to Mirik, a small picturesque hill station at 5100ft (1761m) with a beautiful lake surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The drive to Mirik runs through some fascinating tea gardens and pine forests. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake, (boating payment direct). On the way back to Darjeeling return via Pashupati Market in Nepal India border (need extra vehicle to enter into the market, direct payment). Return to Hotel in the afternoon and have free evening.
Day 5: Darjeeling To Njp Railway / Ixb Airport/tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction)
Morning free for packing & personal activities. After breakfast transfer to NJP/ IXB Airport/Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) for return Journey.
