About the tour
The name Thekkady is synonymous with wildlife and forests. It is the central point of the tourism zone of the Periyar Tiger Reserve which is one of the best managed tiger reserves in India. This is the only tiger reserve where one can watch animals at close quarters from the boat. The inviting lush greenery and the tranquil waters of the Periyar Lake would be a relaxing affair.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Cochin And Transfer To Thekkady
On your arrival at Cochin airport you will be met by our driver and then proceed to Thekkady, also known as Periyar famous for the “Periyar National Park” and “Tiger Reserve”. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Evening proceed for Spice Plantation visit where you can witness rare spice plants and how they are grown and produced. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 2: Excursion To Gavi
After breakfast proceed for a Gavi day trip. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady
Day 3: Thekkady Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Today you can go for boating. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady
Day 4: Departure
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Cochin airport or railway station on time to board the flight or train for your next destination.
