It was in the year 1981 that Anjalika  opened its first cake shop in Delhi, which still exists and is popular. Two decades later Sweet Chariot has metamorphasized into one of the leading bakery and confectionary company. It also has branches in Chennai,Hyderabad, Ooty and Pune.  From 1981, the growth was mainly in the field of breads, chocolates, cookies, Pasteries, savories etc.
