Run by semi-retired Mr and Mrs Tan (oops, they aren't really the Jones), Me and Mrs Jones Cafe has a certain energizing vibe around it. The cafe was meant to be a retirement plan for them, but it has ended up being much more to their regulars, who have also become friends.
The cafe is a bit of a live band spot where Mr Tan will belt out the tunes. And he's not a bathroom singer at all. Mr Tan is a trained musician who is able to play 6 instruments - violin, piano, harmonica, drums, guitar and trumpet. For the record, he sings very well too!
The menu is extremely simple - they only serve beers and juices, as the owners prefer to keep their 6 year old pub simple with minimal overheads so that folks like you and me can enjoy good ole' music at its best. There is no food to distract us at all.
