There's more than wine at the Hess Collection Winery in Napa. In addition to offering exceptional wines, the facility nestled in the hills west of downtown also displays an impressive modern art collection in the Hess Collection Art Gallery. Owner Donald Hess has assembled the art over the last few decades, and today the collection comprises sculpture, paintings and video installations. Featured artists include Francis Bacon, Robert Motherwell and Andy Goldsworthy. The often thought-provoking pieces are exhibited in museums around the world.
