UST Museum of Arts and Sciences

3 Floor Main Building, University of Santo Tomas

About

Though the museum of the University of Santo Tomas was not formally founded until 1870, its extensive collection was initiated as early as 1682, when the university started gathering plant and animal specimens for the instruction of students of natural history. As expected from such a long history, the museum houses some rare antiques and relics, including the country's largest ivory crucifix and specimens of now extinct plants and animals. A must-visit for anybody interested in the natural sciences, anthropology, history, art and culture.
