Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Proceed To Rudraprayag
Arrive at Rudraprayag by late evening. Rudraprayag is a riverside stopover enroute to Auli. It is also confluence of tributaries of holy river Ganges. Time permitting visit temples around the area.
Day 02 : Rudraprayag - Joshimath - Auli
"Proceed to Joshimath (176 kms - 6 hrs) in order to reach before 4:30 PM to catch the last Cable Car to reach Auli. Auli (8000+ ft asl) is a prime skiing destination in India and renowned for best slopes and skiing experience after Gulmarg.
Day 03 : Skiing At Auli
Enjoy Skiing and magnificent 180 degrees view of the Nandadevi Peaks. Beginners start at the Baby slopes before graduating to higher and more adventurous slopes. Experienced skiers straightway use ski lifts to reach higher slopes. There are two sessions. Morning and afternoon (Post Lunch).
Day 04 : Skiing At Auli
Skiing at Auli.
Day 05 : Auli To Rishikesh
Take earliest cable car and proceed to Rishikesh (280 kms - 9 hrs).
Day 06 : White Water Rafting
Travel 20 kms by road upstream and then enjoy a mid-run of Whitewater Rafting back to Rishikesh (about 20 kms downstream with enroute halt for lunch).
Day 07 : Departure
Depart for onward journey. Time permitting visit temples at Rishikesh or visit adventure center that offers Bungee Jumping.
