A relaxed Scandinavia tour meant for those travelers who wish to experience Scandinavia at leisure. The tour covers all the major sights in Europe, while staying at comfortable hotels in major cities (within a radius of 12-18 km from the city center). Travelers will have access and free time to enjoy cities on their own and also indulge in shopping. There is an experienced tour manager (speaks Hindi and English) accompanying the group who will guide them for whatever they need on trip.

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Helsinki

  • On arrival, our tour manager/local representative will meet and welcome you outside the airport. Later, we proceed to the hotel and check–in. We’ll help you with the check-in process later before taking you out for dinner at a Indian restaurant. Then spend the night here in Helsinki.

Day 2: Helsinki Guided City Tour - Visit The Fortress Of Suomenlinna

  • Today morning we proceed for a guided tour of the city and visit the famous tourist attractions here. The Senaatintori Square is a famous square because of the famed Helsinki Cathedral that stands in the middle. Also known as the Senate Square, you can see Carl Ludvig Engel’s architecture that represents the powers between politics, religious, scientific, and commercial. The square along with its surroundings are some of the oldest parts of Helsinki. The Helsinki Cathedral itself is the symbol of the country with sculptures of the 12 Apostles that protect the city. And then check out the stunning Temppeliaukio Church, the Lutheran church designed by architect brothers and built in to solid rock. Hence its other name, the Rock Church. Then visit the beautiful English-style Sibelius Park that was named after the Finnish composes Jean Sibelius. This memorial park also has a stunning Sibelius Monument you shouldn’t miss out on!
  • Later we take a short ferry to visit the Fortress of Suomenlinna which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sea fortress made up of 8 islands located just off of the mainland coast of Helsinki. The fortress itself is a neighborhood of Helsinki and is an extremely popular spot to visit for both tourists and locals.

Day 3: Visit Porvoo - Overnight Cruise To Stockholm

  • Enjoy your breakfast today before we leave. After we check-out we’ll visit Porvoo, the second oldest city in Finland known for the Old Town vibe, vintage cafes and boutiques, and the red-ochre warehouses that lines up the riverside. It’s such a calm, idyllic artisan town that has a history of being a trade centre in the early 14th century.
  • Later in the day we head to the port to check-in for our cruise. We’re going to Stockholm tonight. Dinner will be served on board with an overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 4: Arrival At Stockholm - Stockholm City Tour - Visit The Famous Vasa Museum

  • Breakfast will be served on board as we slowly approach the port at Stockholm. After disembarking, we’ll start our tour of the “Beauty on Water” city, starting from the Sky View Globe Arenas. This is the world’s largest spherical building with the best view of Stockholm. And then to Stortorget where the Stockholm Bloodbath took place. This is the oldest square in the city and remains as the main square roughly 600 years since it was first mentioned. Stockholm Bloodbath was an infamous massacre of nearly 100 people in 3 days in 1520.
  • We’ll then pay a visit to the City Hall, the symbol of Stockholm where the Nobel Banquet was held within the Blue and Golden Halls. It has a gorgeous view of the city and the Riddarfjärden bay and was constructed in 1923. And finally, we’ll make an exciting stop at the Vasa Museum located on the Djurgarden island. This is where we can see the restored Warship Vasa from 1628 and other precious documents and artefacts about the maritime of the 17th century.
  • We’ll then check-in at the hotel, enjoy our dinner, and spend the night in Stockholm.

Day 5: Onto Oslo – Visit The Town Of Karlstad

  • Enjoy you breakfast before we check-out. Today we’re heading to another beautiful city of Finland, Oslo. On our way there, we’ll make a stop at Karlstad in Sweden. It is built over the delta of Klarälven with the second largest port in the country. We’re here to see the beautiful Lake Vanern, Sweden’s largest lake that’s also the water source for birds and a breeding spot for some of the rarest birds here.
  • The drive continues to Oslo where you’ll have dinner before we check-in and let you spend the night in Oslo.

Day 6: Guided Tour Of Oslo – Top Of Holmenkollen Ski Jump - Geilo

  • Today, we proceed for a guided city tour of Oslo: See the Parliament Square, the Opera House, Karl Johan shopping street, the Royal Palace and Akhershus Fortress. Next, we visit Vigeland Sculpture Park. The park is home to over 200 stone, bronze and cast-iron figural sculptures made by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland. Visit to the top of the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, a large ski jumping hill and get a breath-taking view of Oslo fjords. Later we drive to Geilo. Overnight at Geilo.

Day 7: Travel On One Of Norway’s Most Popular Trips ‘norway In A Nutshell’. A Combination Of Spectacular Train Rides And Impressive Trips By Boat And Bus

  • We checkout and proceed to Gudvangen. Today get set for one of the highlights of your trip – Norway in Nutshell. This is a combination of spectacular train rides, impressive trips by boat and scenic bus ride. Be spellbound as you travel through some of the most magnificent scenery in Fjord Norway. Embark on an enchanting boat ride through the spectacular fjords. Be amazed with the splendid scenery as the boat takes you from Aurlands fjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe, surrounded by mighty mountains of upto 1800 meters. Arrive into Flam and wander around the idyllic countryside. Later change to the Flam railway line, a masterpiece of engineering set in wild and wonderful scenery to travel to Myrdal. Cherish the beautiful huge mountains and thundering waterfalls as the train glides through tunnels and open stretches on its way down to the wild Flam valley. On arrival into Myrdal change to the other line to take a train to Geilo. Get in your coach and drive to Oslo.

Day 8: Visit The Fram Museum – Overnight Cruise To Copenhagen

  • Today morning we proceed to the Bygdoy, a peninsula on the western side of Oslo to visit the Fram Museum dedicated to Norway’s lengthy history of polar exploration. With a particular focus on the explorers Otto Sverdrup, Fridtjof Nansen, and Roald Amundsen, the Fram Museum’s permanent collection is also home to displays of arctic wildlife, including penguins and polar bears, as well as housing the ship Fram, which was used in a number of Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. Later we make our way to board our overnight cruise to Copenhagen. Dinner shall be served on board cruise.

Day 9: Arrival At Copenhagen – Visit The Famous Tivoli Gardens - Nyhvan Canal Cruise

  • Breakfast will be served on board as we slowly approach the port at Copenhagen. A guide is going to show you what makes Copenhagen such a beautiful city. The Parliament Building is also known as the the Christiansborg Palace built in the center of Copenhagen. It currently has prominent Neo-baroque style with the chapel having neo-classical style. The original showgrounds that were built in the 1700s had baroque style. Then we’ll visit the Amalienborg Palace that’s in the heart of Copenhagen and is the royal residence of one of the world’s oldest monarchies. See what kind of luxurious lifestyle royals lived hundreds of years ago and the grandeur designs of that time. We’ll see the Gefion Fountain and of course, the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Did you know the Little Mermaid was originally written by a Danish author?And then the highlight of the day is the famous Tivoli Gardens, the world’s second-oldest amusement park that was open since 1843. It has beautiful architecture, historic buildings, and lush gardens, a place prefect for both children and adults to have fun! Try out the rides or read on the history of the park as you explore this place.
  • In the evening, we’ll go on a cruise through the Nyhvan Canal before your dinner. We’ll take you back to the hotel for your overnight stay in Copenhagen.

Day 10: Fly Back Home

  • This morning after breakfast we will check out. Later we make our way for the airport with pleasant memories of your Scandinavia trip which you will cherish for a lifetime.

  • Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g., Coach Driver, Local Guides, etc. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of EUR 3 per person/per day. For the entire duration of this tour which is 10 Days, the total Tips amount is Euro 30 per person to be paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour.

Terms and Conditions

  • Booking amount is minimum Rs.30,000 per person if booking is done 45 days before travel.
  • Within 21-45 days of travel minimum 25% booking deposit is required to confirm the booking.
  • Within 21 days of travel 100% of the amount is required to confirm the booking.
  • Passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of departure
  • The tour includes Flights, Visa and Insurance.
  • The Tour can be cancelled 30 days before travel by paying 10% of the tour value as cancellation charges.
  • Within 15 days - 30 days of travel the tour can be cancelled by paying 50% of the cancellation charge.
  • Within 15 days the tour is completely non-refundable.
  • Please note the tour cost is a combination of EUR component and INR price. The EUR component for the tour is 2,500 EUR (currently taken at a ROE of 87 per INR). If there are any changes in EUR and ROE (Rate of Exchange) of EUR to INR increases beyond 90 at the time of travel, the difference will be payable extra and collected at the time of balance payment.
  • In case of any visa rejection, the initial Rs. 30,000 booking amount will be charged and the balance will be refunded.
