Day 1: Arrive Dibrugarh
Meet and greet upon arrival by The Cat Holidays representative. Check in at the hotel, freshen up and then we take you on a tour, around the tea estate to learn all about tea, its origin, how it is grown and all about tea tasting and its quality. Thereafter drive on to the river front and take a boat cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River in a country boat. Cruise up to a beach Island in the midst of the river. En-route there is a possibility of your sighting flocks of migratory water birds and the elusive Gangetic River Dolphin. Enjoy the view of the Eastern Himalayas and take a nature walk in the vast expanse of grasslands surrounding the island and enjoy your picnic lunch. Return to the mainland and visit the weaving centre to see traditional looms and the weaving of silk textiles of Assam, famous all over the world. Evening option to go for shopping. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
Day 2: Excursion To Digboi
After breakfast, excursion to Digboi. It is the oil city nestled in the numerous tea gardens and mystic hills. Visit the hundred year old refinery, the first refinery of Asia and is the world's oldest operating oil refinery. Other major destinations in and around Digboi are War Cemetery and 18 holes Golf Course. Later come back to hotel. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
Day 3: Visit Sibsagar And Arrive Kaziranga
After Breakfast, leave for Kaziranga National Park. Enroute excursion to Sibsagar. It is a beautiful town located around the huge artificial lake - Sibsagar tank and the Shiva Temple. Visit the archaeological remains, palaces and temples of the Ahoms, Charaideo, Gargaon Palace, Talatal Ghar, Rang Ghar and Kereng Ghar. Arrive Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 4: Visit Kaziranga National Park
Day 5: Kaziranga National Park To Nameri
After breakfast, transfer to Nameri. On the way to Nameri you will be visiting Tezpur. Tezpur is the city of blood and has a magnificent scenic beauty boasting of Art, Culture and Literature. Visit the Bamuni Hills, The Hazara Pukhmi, Cole Park and Agnigarh. Visit Nameri National Park and another important wild life sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh is The Pakhui (Pakke) wild life Sanctuary adjoins the Park on its North-Eastern point. Enjoy rafting in the Jia Bhoroli River in the south western boundary. Overnight at Nameri.
Day 6: Nameri National Park To Manas National Park
After Breakfast choose between trekking or rafting. You can go for trekking in the range with a forest guard or later you can go for rafting in Jia Bhorali. Later leave for Manas National Park which is at the base of foot hills of the Bhutan-Himalayas in the state of Assam, with unique biodiversity. Overnight at Manas National Park.
Day 7: Manas National Park
After morning breakfast you will go for Elephant Safari in the morning and later Jeep safari. Early morning explore the pristine beauty and wilderness of the jungle on the back of an Elephant (for one hour) in the Bansbari range of the park. Afternoon go for a Jeep Safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park – Mathanguri where you will be driven to point beyond which you will see the territory of Kingdom of Bhutan. You could also have an experience of Night Safari while returning back to your lodge or late afternoon you can visit nearby local ethnic Villages. Night halt in Manas.
Day 8: Manas To Guwahati
After breakfast, leave to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Evening you can go to Brahmaputra River cruise. Overnight at Guwahati. Optional: Boat Cruise at Brahmaputra River in the evening.
Day 9: Guwahati Sightseeing
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Guwahati. Pay your obeisance at the numerous Temples - Maa Kamakhya, Sukreshwar, Umananda, Navagraha, Bashistha Ashram, Tirupathi Balaji and many more. Visit the Second world war Cemetery, State Museum, State Zoo and Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra (A museum of Assam diverse culture) and Science Museum beside the temples. Optional: Boat Cruise at Brahmaputra River in the evening. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 10: Guwahati Departure
After breakfast, return back to Guwahati Airport or railway station for your departure. Your tour ends here with pleasant memories.
