Day-wise Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Srinagar

You will be meeet our representative on arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to hotel / houseboat. Check in and stay overnight.

Day 02 : Srinagar To Drass To Kargil (8 Hrs – 204 Kms)

Morning after Breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Enroute Drass which has become famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world by virtue of the intense cold that descends upon the valley along with repeated snowfall during winter. Winter temperature is sometimes known to plummet to less than 40 degree Celsius. Have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing) and visit Vijay Smarak and pay your tribute to soldiers who laid their lives for us in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil hotel by evening. Overnight at Kargil.

Day 03 : Kargil To Uley

After breakfast leave for Uley, (approx 4 hrs drive) by visiting Lamayuru Monastery of Ladakh) and reach Alchi village by afternoon. Arrive and check-in at Camp / Similar. Evening visit to Alchi monastery and free time to explore Village of Alchi. Overnight at Uley.

Day 04 : Uley To Leh

After breakfast leave for Leh ( approx 2 ½ hrs drive ) by visiting Likir monastery, magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib gurudwara and Hall of fame museum. Reach Leh by afternoon. Arrive and check-in at Hotel Nature Residency / Similar. Overnight at Leh.

Day 05 : In Leh - Visit The Town And Surrounds

The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace and the markets. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : Leh To Khardongla To Nubra Valley (125 Kms)

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.

Day 07 : Nubra Valley To Khardongla To Leh (125 Kms)

In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 : Leh To Pangong Lake (150 Kms)

Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.

Day 09 : Pangong O Hemis / Thiksey To Leh (165 Kms)

After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10 : Drive Leh To Sarchu To Jispa

After breakfast follow the Leh Manali highway and arrive at Tanglangla pass. Enter in Morai plains with a dusty trails further down to Pang and cross Nakila pass. Arrive Sarchu which is nearly the mid section of this stretch. Further drive to Keylong Sarai will leads you at Baralacha pass. Drive down to reach at Dacha and less than 01 hour drive you will be at your night halt.

Day 11 : Drive To Manali

Drive to Keylong which is the district headquarter of this region and following the chandara and Bhaga river you will reach at Gramphu which is the base for Rohtang pass and need to ascend up at the top of the Rohtang Pass which is one of the major attraction on this route. Spend some time at the pass and enter in beautiful lush green valley of Manali. Arrive at Manali and enjoy the beautiful market of this hill station. Stay overnight in Manali.

Day 12 : Departure Manali

After breakfast check out and you have your own arrangements either to Fly from Kullu airport or Drive to Chandigarh or overnight Volvo to Delhi.
