Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive Kochi
- Welcome to Kochi, the most charming city of Kerala. On arrival at Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station, begin your tour of 'Enchanting Kerala'. You will be met and transferred to your hotel.
- Later visit the St. Francis Church, the Mattencherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue and view the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi area.
Day 2: Kochi To Munnar
This morning proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this quaint hill station.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Today, proceed for a tour of Munnar where you will enjoy visiting sections of old Munnar, which includes the charming old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews and the Tata Tea Museum. You will also visit Mattupetty Lake which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam there. The evening is at leisure.
Day 4: Munnar To Thekkady
- Today drive to Thekkady (Periyar) the land of spice plantations.
- On arrival, check into your hotel / resort. The afternoon is at leisure to walk through the bustling spice market in the Kumily Village.
- Overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady To Alleppey
- Early in the morning, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar (boats can be hired directly), to observe wildlife in the Periyar Sanctuary.
- Later, drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey.
Day 6: Alleppey To Kumarakom
Check in into the Houseboat and enjoy the houseboat ride.
Day 7: Kumarakom To Kochi
Today bid farewell to your 'Enchanting Kerala' tour as you are transferred to Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station for your onward journey.
