Day 1: Arrival At Tokyo

On arrival in Tokyo you will be met and transferred to your hotel for four nights (check in is available after 2 pm). The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin this morning’s sightseeing tour. Highlights of the tour include visits to the Toyko Tower, Akusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise Shopping Arcade. You will also drive through Akihabara and Ueno Park. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Tokyo City Tour

Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Mount Fuji. Stop at the visitor center before embarking on a cruise on Lake Ashi. Afterward, take a cable-car ride (weather permitting) for panoramic views of spectacular Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi and the surrounding area.

Day 5: Tokyo To Kyoto

A highlight of your tour is a journey on one of Japan’s famous bullet trains, bound for Kyoto. Reaching Kyoto, one of the most fascinating cities in Japan, the remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore.

Day 6: Kyoto Sightseeing

Enjoy a tour of Kyoto, visiting many of the city’s temples, shrines, palaces and pagodas. A highlight of the day is a visit to extraordinary Nijo Castle, built in 1603 as the official residence of the Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. You will also visit Kinkakuji, the Temple of the Gold Pavilion and the Imperial Palace.

A full day at leisure to explore Kyoto.
