Gautam Buddha laid the foundation of Buddhism. It was in India where he found enlightenment and India boasts of having beautiful Buddhist monasteries and stupas. Nalanda, though disappeared in the 13th century, was once a world center of Buddhism. The various Buddhist pilgrimages in India attract a huge number of devotees from all round the world. What better place to visit than the holy Ganges, where most of the Buddhist pilgrimages are found.

Day 1: Arrival At Varanasi

As soon as you reach Varanasi, check into a hotel for overnight stay. In the evening you will be having an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon and enjoy boat ride at holy river Ganga. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2

Day 2: Varanasi To Bodhgaya

After having your breakfast you will be driven to Bodhgaya. Check into a hotel as soon as you reach Bodhgaya. Then you will be seeing the various tourist spots of Bodhgaya such as Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Bodhi Sarovar, Chankamana etc. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
