Developed by the British in the 19th century, this serene town is now home to the vibrant Tibetan and Sikkimese cultures. Hop on to the quiet Himalayan Railway to experience some of the most breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas on your journey.

Day 1

Day 01: Njp Rly Station / Ixb Airport – Gangtok

Arrive at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.), the capital of Sikkim. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day is free at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2

Day 02: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After a delightful breakfast start for the full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 05: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 a.m) at Tiger Hill in early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) , Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and will be approx Rs.180 per person-directly payable by guest).
