About the tour
At an altitude of 6800 Ft. Lamahatta is a perfect romantic destination for honeymooners. It is a calm and peaceful place with pine trees standing majestically with the looming Mount Kanchenjunga in the fore front. The Budhhist prayer flags fluttering at the slight breeze are 500 years old, the Buddhist Monastery is about 20 min walks. The inhabitants are mostly tribal Buddhist people like Dukpas, Sherpa, Yalmoos.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Bagdogra/new Jalpaiguri And Transfer To Darjeeling
On arrival, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Darjeeling. On arrival check into your hotel, unpack and relax. Evening enjoy a nature walk to Mall road for shopping and other personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see the beautiful sunrise and capture the breathtaking sight of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. Also visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the area which was built in 1875. Late have a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and then proceed for city tour visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mount Everest. Also visit the Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside). Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Lamahatta
Post breakfast transfer to Lamahatta through the beautiful Senchal wild life sanctuary.Sorrunded by tall green pine forest Lamahatta is a small hamlet, where you can enjoy the nature from your balcony . Overnight stay at Lamahatta.
Day 4: Explore The Natural Treasure Of Lamahatta
Morning experience the spectacular sunrise from Lamahatta, after go for a nature walk through the beautiful virgin pine forest to Lamahatta lake and enjoy the untouched beauty of this land with your dear one. Post lunch visit nearby Tea garden and get the 360 degree view of Tista and Rangeet valley. In the evening enjoy a fire camp together. Overnight stay at Lamahatta.
Day 5: Departure From Lamahatta To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station /bagdogra
Post breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories.
