About the tour
Dalhousie, a hill station in Himachal Pradesh was named after Lord Dalhousie who was the British Governor-General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat. Dalhousie was established in 1854 by the British Empire in India as a summer retreat for its troops and bureaucrats. Amritsar is the spiritual center for the Sikh religion in the state of Punjab. It is home to the Harmandir Sahib, also referred to as the "Golden Temple"

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Arrival At Delhi
Arrive Delhi Airport / Railway Station and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon visit Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Birla Mandir. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi To Shimla
After breakfast, proceed to Shimla (380 kms. /11 hrs.), Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 03 : Shimla Sightseeing
Post breakfast, drive to Kufri visit Kufri -Winter Sports Capital, Himalayan Zoo. Evening visit Mall Road. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 04 : Shimla To Manali
After breakfast, proceed to Manali ( 260 kms. /9 hrs. ) pass by Beas River, Sutlej River & Kullu valley. Arrive Manali. Check into hotel. Visit Shawl factory at Kullu. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 05 : Manali Sightseeing
Enjoy Spectacular drive towards Rohtang Snow point (51 Kms) at an attitude of 3980 mts. and enjoy in the Snow. Evening return to Manali. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 06 : Manali Sightseeing
Visit the ancient temples like Vashishtha Temple and Hidimba Temple. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 07 : Manali To Dharamshala
Proceed to Dharamshala ( 270 kms. / 9 hrs. ), Evening visit the Tibetan Monastery (Dalailama Temple). Overnight stay at Dharamshala.
Day 08 : Dharamshala To Dalhousie
After breakfast, proceed to Khajjiar ( 175 kms. / 6 hrs) popularly known as "Mini Swiss" for its Snow Capped Mountains and Pine Trees and then move to Dalhousie ( 23 kms. / 1 hrs. ). Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 09 : Dalhousie To Amritsar
After breakfast, proceed to Amritsar (200 kms. /5 hrs. ). Visit Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh. Evening proceed to Indo-Pak Wagha Border. Later drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
Day 10 : Departure From Amritsar.
Ealry morning, depart to Delhi (475 kms. / 9 hrs. ). Enroute visit to Kurukshetra(optional). Reach Delhi in the evening and board the train / flight for your onward journey.
