Madikeri is the picturesque town of Kodagu (also called Coorg), the land of coffee, cardamom, colonels and the Cauvery. The headquarters of Kodagu district, it is located in a beautiful hilly setting surrounded by the forest slopes of the Western Ghats. It is one of the best destination in Karnataka.
Day 1: Bangalore To Mysore
On arrival to Bangalore, pick up from Airport / Railway Station. Later proceed to Mysore. En-route halt at Srirangapatna, visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Nimishamba Temple, Tippu's Summer Palace, fort and Gumbuz. Proceed to Mysore, on arrival visit Chamundi Hills to pay your obeisance to Goddess Chamundeshwari. On the way back to city you will see Statue of Mahishasura and Nandi. Later visit Mysore Palace museum and St. Philomena's Church. Later drive to Brindavan Gardens a show garden that has botanical park with fountains as well as a musical fountain. Drive back to Mysore. Overnight stay in Mysore Hotel.
Day 2: Mysore To Coorg
After breakfast check out and proceed to Coorg, en route visit Bylakuppe, largest Tibetan settlement in South India and it is famous for Tibetan Golden Temple. Later visit Kaveri Nisargadhama an island formed by river Cauvery. On arrival check in to hotel. Evening visit Raja's Seat. Overnight stay at Coorg.
Day 3: Coorg Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Talakaveri - birth place of Cauvery, en route visit Bhagamandala Bhagandeshwara Temple and Triveni Sangama. After returning back to Madikeri visit Abbey falls and Omkareshwar Temple. Overnight stay at Coorg.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, proceed Bangalore. On arrival get transferred to Bangalore Railway Station / Airport.
