Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport
On arrival, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Darjeeling. On reaching, check into your hotel, unpack and relax. Evening enjoy the nature walk to Mall for shopping and other personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and capture the breathtaking sight of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. Also visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the area which was built in 1875. Have a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mount Everest. Also visit Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Center (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside).Retire comfortably for the night stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Kalimpong
After breakfast transfer to Kalimpong where on arrival check into your hotel. After lunch enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong visit Delo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home and flower Nurseries back to hotel. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 4: Kalimpong To Loleygaon
After breakfast transfer to Loleygaon. A small village in Eastern Himalaya famous for its natural beauty. Enjoy the beauty of pristine nature and Kanchenjunga from you rooms and explore heritage forests by canopy walk. Overnight stay at Loleygaon.
Day 5: Explore Loleygaon
Early morning enjoy the spectacular sunrise from Jhandidara and enjoy the nature walk through tall majestic Pine trees. Evening enjoy the sunset and overnight stay at Loleygaon.
Day 6: Loleygaon To Lava
After having a hearty breakfast transfer Loleygaon to Lava. Lava a beautiful small hill station surrounds by green pine forests and mountains. On arrival lava proceed for local sightseeing covering Ratnarishi Bihar Buddhist Gompha, Neora Lake, Tiffin Dara, Neora Interpretation Centre, Chhengey waterfalls. Overnight stay at Lava.
Day 7: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
Post breakfast, pack your bag and transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra for onward journey with sweet memories eastern Himalaya.
