Day 1: Arrival At Cochin And Transfer To Munnar
On your arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you will be met by our driver and will proceed to Munnar. On the way you will travel through misty mountains and vast estates covered in tea plantations. You can stop at any point to take pictures and move according to your convenience. Upon arrival at Munnar you will check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for hotel activities. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast you will set out for sightseeing of Munnar which includes the Mattupetty Lake and Dam followed by the Tea Museum which gives a beautiful history of Munnar since pre-independence era. (Tea Museum’s closing time is 4:00 PM and it remains closed on Mondays). Visit Echo Point, Rajamalai, Pothamedu View Point and Kundala Lake. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Munnar To Thekkady
Today after your breakfast you will proceed to Thekkady also known as Periyar, famous for the “Periyar National Park” and “Tiger Reserve”. On arrival you will check into your hotel. Then proceed to spice plantation where you can witness rare spice plants and how they are grown and produced. You can then visit the beautiful Periyar Lake surrounded by lush green forests. You can go for boating in the Periyar Lake (optional). In the evening you will return to hotel.
Day 4: Thekkady To Alleppey
After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. On arrival, check into your house boat (Check in time 12.30 PM). Enjoy a cruise along the backwaters of Vembanad Lake. Traditional Kerala food will be served on board. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppey To Cochin Departure
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Cochin airport or railway station to board the flight or train for your departure.
