Darjeeling is a part of the Eastern Himalayan zoo-geographic zone. Flora around Darjeeling comprises sal, oak, semi-evergreen, temperate and alpine forests. Dense evergreen forests of sal and oak lie around the town, where a wide variety of rare orchids are found. The Lloyd's Botanical Garden preserves common and rare species of plants, while the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park specialises in conserving and breeding endangered Himalayan species.
Day 1: Arrive At Darjeeling
Meet and greet at airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station and transfer to Darjeeling Known as the 'Queen of the Hills'. Darjeeling is one of the most famous hill stations in the world. Check in at the hotel. Overnight halt.
Day 2: Darjeeling (Full Day Tour)
Early in the morning before dawn at 4 am proceed to Tiger hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the khancendzonga ranges. On the way back visit Batasia loop and Ghoom monastery back to hotel at 7 am. After freshen up and breakfast at the hotel visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan zoological park, Tenzing rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help centre, Tea estate (outer view), ava art gallery and Japanese temple, Peace pagoda, labong race course and Rope way. Day 3: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast leave Darjeeling and proceed towards. New Jalpaiguri railway station Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (110 kms / 03 hrs) for your onward journey. Tour ends and memories begin.
