Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Bagdogra Airport /new Jalpaiguri Railway Station
After breakfast proceeds to picturesque drive to Gangtok. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening enjoy the walk around M.G Marg. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok Local City Tour
After having breakfast on hotel, visit Institute of Tibetology,Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Rumtek Monastery, Ropeway Ride and Shanti view point. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3: Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
Enjoy a warm breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing). Rest overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Gangtok To Ravangla
After breakfast transfer to Ravangla (via Temi Tea Garden - It is the only tea estate existing in the state, produces top variety tea for international market. The Tea garden spread out on a gentle hill slope originating from the Tendong Hill provides a magnificent view of the surrounding villages and Sandruptse Monastery -"Wish Fulfilling Hill". A 135 ft unique statue of Guru Padmasambhava which is said to be the tallest in the world is installed). Overnight stay at Ravangla.
Day 5: Ravangla To Pelling
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and drive to Pelling.Located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok, Pelling is another serene mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 metres (approx) and boasts of a spectacular view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Afternoon go for a nature walk and enjoy the nature closely. Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling.
Day 6: Pelling Local Sightseeing
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a city tour visiting Pemayangste Monastery, Rabtense Ruins, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall and Rambi Falls. Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling.
Day 7: Departureto Bagdograairport /new Jalpaiguri Jalpaiguri Railway Station
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri in time for flight / train for your onward journey.
