Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Delhi To Jammu And Transfer To Katra
Arrival at Delhi. Meet and greet at Delhi Domestic airport/ railway station, proceed to Jammu by surface. Arrive Jammu. Jammu : King Jambulochan founded the city of Jammu which he called 'Jammu Nagri' and transferred his capital to the new city from the Bahu fort. Jammu, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir state is perched like a guard. It also has great importance as a communication center, being the railhead for the entire Jammu and Kashmir and the starting point for visiting the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi at Katra. There are several temples in this charming city, but none as beautiful as the Raghunath temple in the heart of the city. Transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel. Rest and relax over night at katra hotel .
Day 2: Katra Sightseeing
Early morning breakfast and transfer to Katra by surface. Reach Katra and trek to Vaishno devi temple (Holy Cave, 15 Kms/06 Hours). (Darshans depends on the number of people present, may be it can take one full day). After darshans, free time at the Holy Shrine and visit other temples and then trek back to Katra. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel Katra .
Day 3: Katra To Dharamshala Via Pathankot
After breakfast, leave for Dharamshala by surface. Reach Dharamshala and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel Pathankot.
Day 4: Dharamshala Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to visit Chamunda devi temple,Baijnath temple, Bajreshwari devi temple . Return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel Dharamshala .
Day 5: Dharamshala To Jwalamukhi And Transfer To Chintapurni
After breakfast, check out from hotel. Leave for Jwalamukhi and visit Jwalamukhi temple and later Chintapurni temple. In the evening, return back to Chintpurni hotel. Overnight stay at hotel Chintapurni.
Day 6: Chintapurni To Naina Devi Temple And Transfer To Chandigarh
After breakfast, leave for Chandigarh en route visiting Naina devi temple. Reach Chandigarh and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Chandigarh (Visit Mansa Devi Temple)
After breakfast, proceed to Visit Mansa Devi temple. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel Chandigarh .
Day 8: Chandigarh To Amritsar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Amritsar,reached Amritsar, Enjoy the retreat ceremony at Bagha Border and dropped to railway station for onward journey back home.
