About the tour
Gangtok is one of the more popular hill destinations in India's northeast region. Most travelers visit Gangtok with the idea of catching a glimpse of the spectacular Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. On a bright, sunlit day it is a sight to behold. Part of the lower Shivalik hills of mighty Himalayas, Gangtok stands at an altitude of 5047 feet. Gangtok roughly means 'Majestic or Lofty Hill'.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogara Airport
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogara airport and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Excursion To Visit Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and Baba Mandir.The shrine maid in memory of Sepoy Harbahajan Sing. Back to Gangtok. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Gangtok To Lachen
After breakfast pick up from Gangtok hotel drive to Lachen (8800ft) via Chungthang (40Kms), another quiet and picturesque hamlet on the higher Himalayas famous for its proximity to the Kanchenjunga National park. Transfer to hotel at Lachen. Overnight dinner stay at Lachen.
Day 4: Excursion Trip To Gurudongmar Lake And Transfer To Lachung
Morning after breakfast proceed for excursion trip to Thangu, and Gurudongmar Lake ( depends on weather and Permit). After visit drive to Lachung (50kms, 8610ft) a Enroute, Confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Bhim Nala falls. Overnight halt and dinner stay at Lachung.
Day 5: Excursion Trip To Yumthang Valley
Morning after breakfast visit Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 6: Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast leave for Gangtok. On the way stops between singhik, Mangan and if the weather is clear you may get to see the Kanchandzonga Range. This location offers a majestic view of Mount Pandim, Mount Kabru, Mount Simvo, Mount Jopuno, Mount Kanchandzonga and Mount Siniolchu .Visit Phodong Monastery on the way if time permits. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 7: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport
Morning free for packing and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station or Bagdogra airport for return journey. Tour Ends.

Terms and Conditions
Expand- As per the government rule in one innova only 06 pax are allowed that is including child ,tata sumo/hard top jeep only 07 - 08 pax are allowed that is including child. In case the number of pax travelling increases above 08, then the pax will have to opt for the 2nd (second) vehicle for which the supplement cost is extra, as per the above itinerary on point to point basis & not at disposal.
- All prevailing State and Government taxes applicable on accommodation and transport. In case of any hike in the taxes a surcharge will be applicable
- Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking. In case the same is not available, then the best similar category will be provided
- The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts
- The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason
- Tourist will carry their luggage at own risk and responsibility; East Wind Holiday Tours Pvt. Ltd does not hold any responsibility for any loss of luggage during the tour.
- Nathula Pass visit is only possible on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday with prior permission obtained 48 hrs in advance as per defense regulation. Nathula is NOT ADVISABLE to guest having problem with blood pressure, knee & heart. Since Nathula is a restrict area any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake
