Start from Sonmarg after breakfast to reach Kargil early evening via Drass, and view the magnificient Zoji La pass on the way. Leave Leh early morning and start driving towards Tso Moriri Lake. On the way visit hot springs at Chumathang. Witness various war memorials on the way from the time of the Sino-Indian (Indo-China) war. Just before Tso Moriri witness the spectacular azure blue waters of Thatsang Karu, a very small lake on a very high plateau. Head onwards to Tso Moriri and have evening tea at Korzok village lakeside. This lake is completely brackish just like Pangong Tso. Stay overnight in lakeside camp.
