Abaco Club on Winding Bay

From the tee set close to the Beach Club and the turquoise waters of Winding Bay, this opening hole heads northwest, parallel to the beach.  It plays through a shallow valley that will tend to give helpful bounces for shots that are a little off target.  The best line from the tee is just left of the cluster of drive bunkers, and an accurate drive may well be given a kick forward.  The green is tucked in alongside a dune with only hollows guarding it.  It is a gentle affair, except for a low back right corner.
