About

Al-Manar Centre is one of Ahlus-Sunnah organisations, which was established in Cardiff city in Britain in 1992.

Choosing to establish the Centre in this particular city was for many considerations, the most important being the fact that a large community of Muslims resides there. The divers Muslim community in Cardiff consists of people who are originally from Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Arab countries, plus the fact that there is a large number of students doing higher studies at Cardiff university. The number of the local Muslims is estimated at eleven thousand plus the students whose numbers vary from time to time.

The Centre also plays a humble role in introducing the non-Muslim population of Britain to the religion of Islaam.

Al-Manar Centre is a registered charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, offering its services to the community at large and, al-hamdulillaah, has improved its performance over the years.
