I have been to Bohol several times and stays at some resorts along Alona beach. It is a long whitesand beach. Very beautiful. There are few resorts and restaurants around. It's very relaxing to stay there, never too crowded. The people are friendly. The foods are great. And there are many other things to see around Bohol Island like the famous chocolate hills, Philippine tarsier(smallest monkey), the floating restaurants at loboc river, caves, etc.
