Working from her studio gallery in O’Connell Street Limerick, Annemarie Bourke paints daily and runs inspiring workshops for aspiring artists.Originally from Killaloe, Annemarie spent her childhood on the shores of Lough Derg, sketching and painting, and as a result she has a wonderful empathy for the Irish landscape. She paints in watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylic and covers a huge range of subject matter including landscapes, seascapes, flowers, still-life and some abstract work.The luxurious décor in the studio reflects Annemarie’s creative side. Browsers and clients are encouraged to spend time enjoying the huge variety of original works on display.Annemarie also runs workshops in the studio. These are usually three day intensive courses where students are encouraged to develop their skills and release the artist within. Annemarie Bourke's work can be found in many corporate and private collections worldwide.
