The aquarium is situated in the small coast village of Pointe aux Piments in the north of Mauritius. It is about 20 minutes drive from Grand Baie. A new ecological system was invented for the aquarium which reflects the depths and the surrounding of the ocean and which will bring you to another world. All in all you will find in the five buildings different tanks and pools, in which you can view 150 different types of water animals which habitat is on and around Mauritius. The biggest tank has a length of 15 meters and contains a multiplicity of marine animals on which you can get an impressive view. For the small visitors you will get the so called "touch pool" in which you can interact with non dangerous marine animals.
