Babete Gastrobar is located in Chiado , next to escadinhas do Duque (the stairways next to Rossio train station) and opened on November 2011. The restaurant is now in the hands of a team who inherited chef Adriana Souza's love and knowledge of Brazilian food. Babete's entrance is clearly Portuguese, but the colourful inside contrasts, depicting the typical environment from the streets of Maripá de Minas, in Brazil. The cuisine is brazilian, of course, and it's prepared according to the freshest ingredients. Closes on Sundays and, from Thursday to Saturday, early booking is advised.
