Ancient ancestral home of the O’Brien clan dates back to 1840. It stands beside 15th Century O’Brien Castle. The hotel commands spectacular views of the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Connemara and the Burren. The hotel has 12 bedrooms most with ocean views, some are four poster rooms and 2 are suites. The restaurant is excellent and has been written about is many guide books. It specializes in local foods and seafood and also local lamb. While the country house dates back to 1840 it provides all the modern comforts.
