Ballycross Apple Farm in Bridgetown County Wexford has a farm shop packed with a selection of different varieties of apples and the farm's homemade apple juices pressed using traditional methods. Open during the apple season which varies from mid August to March each year. The shop and farm is open weekends only, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, 2pm to 6pm.Products on sale include single variety apple juices, also including speciality mixed fruit juices, and weekly fresh-pressed produce.A variety of other products which include homemade jams, chutneys, honey, crisps, crackers, presentation gift hampers, and a selection of quality farm made food items.Ballycross Apple Farm has won a number of awards including the Bridgestone Irish Food Guide the Best in Ireland,the Irish Food Writers Guild Awards 2005, and Shop Exhibition 2008:Product of the Show Award - Best Beverage/Wine Product.
