Bazaar

Calle Libertad 21 Cuisines: Asian, European

About

Enjoying tremendous vogue in Madrid is this popular restaurant, frequented largely by an attractive set of Madrileño youth. On a recent visit we spotted three dead ringers for Paris Hilton. The decor is light, stylish, and airy; the talk hip and sophisticated. The chef's repertoire of dishes is creative, vigorous, and vibrant. Typical of the zest is a starter of fresh tomato soup made with basil ice cream. More old-fashioned, typical fare is also served, including a tasty chicken curry, a savory kettle of stew beef, and tantalizingly flavored chicken brochettes. For dessert, we recommend the locally fabled chocolatísimo, a medley of chocolate delights.
