Bhandardara lake.  The clear and placid lake is bounded by thick canopied forests of the Sahyadri hills. The Lake gets its water from the Pravara River. The Lake and its surroundings offer an enchanting spectacle.One can enjoy fishing in Bhandardara (Arthur) lake; however, boats are not allowed to be used.The area is crisscrossed by trekking trails and dotted with forts. The famous Mount Kalsubai, the highest peak in Maharashtra is a favourite with trekkers.
