A chain-run restaurant, Big Horn unexpectedly serves the best steaks in the area, in a setting inspired by an American steakhouse. Naturally, the chefs secure the best-quality beef available in Norway, and some of the portions of beef we've seen consumed here are amazing. For non-beef options, choices are not surprisingly more lackluster, though you'll find the marinated pork ribs with barbecue sauce tasty, as you will the grilled scampi served with chili sweet corn. Like in a U.S. eatery, starters include buffalo wings served with bleu cheese. You might also opt for the French vineyard snails flavored with garlic and gorgonzola, the latter a bit overpowering. For desserts, the house favorite is ice cream Grand Canyon or a chocolate mousse with blackberries.
