The first aquarium in Beijing is home to 7,800 sq. meters of undersea world and Asia's longest (120 meters) undersea walk. It features mini-lectures on marine life on weekends and 20 exhibition tanks filled with sharks, eels, piranhas and even endangered species. If you call in advance, you can even go swimming with dolphins or sharks. With professional staff and a recent renovation, and over 6,000 sea creatures, the Blue Zoo is a good way to spend an afternoon in Beijing with children.
