Bogstadveien (Bogstad street) connects the Majorstuen area with the city center. Close to the center, the street changes names to Hegdehaugsveien. It's a lively shopping street (particularly busy on Saturdays) with a combination of exclusive boutiques and good-value shops; everything from Jimmy Choo shoes to Hennes & Mauritz are on offer. There are plenty of cool cafes and cozy pubs as well.
