About

This inexpensive restaurant serving great food is located on a side street not far from Deak ter. It seems to have been around forever. After its renovation, it lost some of its bohemian feel but the portions of delicious food are generous and the beer (on tap) is pleasantly strong. The rich bab leves (bean soup) with sausage, ham and sour cream is a must. After that, you should go for the Becsi szelet (Wiener schnitzel) which takes up so much room on your plate that your serving of fries or mashed potatoes has to come on a separate plate. After your meal, what better way to spend the rest of the day than to sit back, relax and have a few beers.
