This is not only the best Thai restaurant in town, but one of the best places to eat in Cairo. The decor is nothing special, but the food is first-rate. Start with a spicy chicken salad followed by red or green curry or, one of my favorites, the chicken with basil leaves. Menu items change seasonally, but if you're here at the right time of year, I recommend the deep-fried calamari in coconut batter. Try the fried bananas with honey for dessert. Specials vary and are always worth a try.
