The Puneites have long been familiar with Budhani Wafers. The evening air in MG Road and Taboot Street is thick with the aroma of freshly fried chips. Started in 1955, Budhani now supplies wafers to premium restaurants, hotels, multiplexes, supermarkets, etc. It would also be interesting to know that they refused to sell out to two of the world's most famous wafer manufacturers. The wafers come in an amazing range of varieties - Potato, Cheese, Tomato, Masala and Potato Sali.
