Casa el Ouazzani

157 av. Mohammed V Cuisines: Pizza

About

This little hole-in-the-wall eatery, opened by the Ouazzani family in 2006, is a good spot for a quick and cheap lunch or dinner, with some excellent people-watching, too. Located in the medina, on the pedestrian-only section of avenue Mohammed V, the space is limited to four mosaic tables with wrought-iron and woven-raffia chairs, shaded by a small awning. The menu, also limited, includes a selection of pizzas along with paninis, toasted sandwiches, fries, and a plat du jour that is usually a couscous or tagine dish.
