The facility houses a state of the art research facility, the Life Science Centre, where its scientists are the first people in Europe - and only the second in the world - to get a license for stem cell research on human embryos. There is also an interactive museum that looks at DNA, the human body and the origins of life, as well as a visitors centre. Admission prices depend on your age, whether you are a UK tax payer and if you want to make a charitable donation.
