Established in 1986, the Centro Cultural José Bonifácio is also known as Zéboni. Various concerts and celebrations like 'Saints Cosmas' and 'Damian', have taken place at this venue. There are workshops and courses like Afro-Brazilian dance, gymnastics, karate, plastic arts, disk jockey, corner theatre and coral and lots more happening at this center. A source of culture & entertainment for the Port Zone residents, the center focuses on African-Brazilian culture and is managed by the local government.
