Even apart from the wide choice of modern and ancient rugs and copperware and the exceptionally friendly staff, this place is a real gem. The rugs are exclusively produced for the Château des Souks and are stored in one of the various chambers within the building where they are also put on exhibition. The much cooler upstairs rooms make a welcome break from the sometimes harsh sun and if you have serious intentions of buying anything, you will be offered the obligatory thé à la menthe. Transportation can be arranged worldwide.
