" Checkers" is a mega-shop for CDs, DVDs, posters and all things to do with music and movies. A 2-storied establishment with a restaurant in the forecourt, it is a place to visit for buying the stuff at a reasonable price. It has a vast collection of songs and films--old classics and the latest movies in Bengali, Hindi, English, French, etc. It has different sections for different genres, suitably displaced in racks and stacks. Ambient lighting is good. On the first floor there is an exact replica of an F-1 motor car--kids can sit in the cockpit to get into the excitement. The shop is located in Sector 3 in Uttara.
